About Us
Who are we?
Confident Kids Safety Courses began in 2018 as a response to a community need for Babysitter courses in Tofield. We quickly grew to servicing Sherwood Park, Edmonton and surrounding areas.
We started as a mother-daughter team, using our decades of parenting & teaching experience to help kids excel and gain the skills to confidently handle any situation.
During the 2020 Covid lock-downs, Ruth retired and Rachel worked with Canada Safety Council to create an online version of the programs to continue to build into kids while being online.
Our Home Alone & Babysitter Courses continue to be a central focus of our courses, and we continue to offer Home Alone as an online option for parents and kids.
In 2023, Confident Kids Safety Courses rebranded and expanded to our new name: Confidence Courses! The changes enabled us to include Mental Health First Aid - a course from the Canadian Mental Health Commission designed to empower adults to have conversations with friends, co-workers and family members about struggles they may be having.
Empowering individuals to handle the challenges they face continues to be an ongoing focus for us & we look forward to helping you on your journey!
